Spring Journey (Deutsch)

By Julia Griffin

Spring comes with a profusion of flowers, and as I walk the streets of Atlanta with a friend, we read about a tornado watch via I-Phone — the cell is above us but we continue walking. And I feel the whole world is a little surreal, as we inhale the intoxicating sweet wisteria that burns through the twilight with violet hue. The street is littered with pink dogwood blossoms and cherry blossoms that stick to the tips of our boots. Our umbrellas bend in the wind, but we pretend not to notice.

As an intuitive, it feels as though the world was swirling around me. I can't escape thoughts of Japan's earthquake, the tsunami, and now the upheaval of the weather, with lightning striking around us. I reflect that life is not likely to be calm for the next few years and mention the "shift", but we ease the mood by talking about the flowers, wading through the rain, and soon the sun shines on the narrow brick sidewalk, as though the Universe has felt our change of mood. We laugh at the weather's sudden alteration, while looking at the marble angels that rise above the gates of Oakland Cemetery in the heart of the city.

Once I might have said that we created that magical moment when the sky cleared above us and warm light radiated down on the sidewalk and trees, but now I think it is far more than that — it is a movement into the heart, into joy where the universe both resides and answers. It is rarely the search for the answer for that brings it along. We knew that it wasn't safe on the street, but we were more than a mile from refuge — the only immediate answer seemed to lie in the acceptance of the moment. We are close friends, with similar spiritual practices, so we didn't descend into fear — instead we reveled in the respite of the day together and the marvelous beauty that was unraveling before us.

We are all learning a similar lesson at the same time — to move out of fear; to become present; to tune into love and connect with that unlimited vista of Universal force, which includes unlimited potential, power, love and higher consciousness. Another important point is that we weren't visualizing anything at all — we were "feeling" companionship, the love of a long friendship and nature. (I do think visualization has its place because we are so often "imagining" life.) As co-creators, we cannot always create accurately on our own, but we can find a place in the Universe where unlimited energy abounds, and the energy can amplify an image (positive or negative) or feeling so that it takes form.

It seems that we are all facing a moment when we must learn new methods of thinking, feeling, visualizing and "being" at quantum speed. We are connected to the earth, and Gaia is changing at a rapid rate. No one can deny that vast changes are taking place. There's no time for complacency, and personal and global evolution are needed if we want a positive shift.

On a practical level, I know that many teachers have additional knowledge and there is much more to learn. Here are some simple skills that I've learned — so please, feel free to improve, expand and share.

Microcosm and Macrocosm: In alchemy, we know that the microcosm (us) and the macrocosm (the world) are related, so by raising our own personal vibrations, we shift the energy of our own world, which alters the outer frequency of the earth. When an individual holds a higher vision for the earth, it alters the collective vision of the future of the earth. When we evolve, the earth evolves. When the earth evolves, we evolve. Everything is all inter-related in a connecting web of life.

Evolution: The highest purpose of the journey is love and evolution, which lead toward enlightenment. This is the only state in which every part of our being is balanced by the heart and held in a place of love. When enlightenment is the quest, then we begin to realize the whole purpose of the journey is the higher frequency. Everything starts to flow correctly when aligned with love. There is a safe harbor that is within us, and life responds to us there. Then, it's not just what we do or think or see, it's about how we do it — are we coupled with love? Is there integrity in our work? How can we go deeper? How do we share?

Nature: Nature patiently reflects our creations of thought and emotion in the physical world, so it's time to take a good look at what we believe, think and feel. Here's my personal vision: It's time to envision a new world with no nuclear power, no fossil fuels, no extinctions -- a beautiful world that runs on free energy with an abundance of all things. Adults should play like children with plenty of time outdoors, flowers, love and the ability to step into the remembrance that we have the inner power to create this world. (Feel free to alter or improve.)

Imagery: See the best for yourself and everyone else. Stay with the concept that you are creating a wonderful life. If you worry about the earth or future, create a beautiful vision. (The same is true with your own life.) Sometimes, I like to imagine that I am looking back, later in time, and I think, "Wow, we made it through the shift and created a marvelous world. I am so happy and amazed." (Positive visualizations and feelings raise our vibrations, so it's worth the effort.)

Identification and resonance: It's important to know that we are either identifying with positive or negative change. It's important to frequently examine our beliefs. Do we believe that we are victims of the government or plots, OR do we believe when our consciousness is joined that we have the power to change the world? Do we believe in abundance? Or hope? How important are our roles as parents, workers, light workers or healers? Who are we really? "It's important to know that we amplify "whatever" we believe with our resonance and tap into the collective consciousness through role playing.

Peace. Create peace in your own world by moving out of judgment, close mindedness and limitation whenever you can. (This creates peace. If we were free from internal conflict, then it couldn't exist in the outer world. Anyone can begin to observe the internal dialog, which changes the flow of consciousness.)

The present. When we decide to separate from fear and to move into the moment, the universe usually generates a more positive image. It's not always possible to stay present, but it's good to make the effort. It helps to be outdoors and to remember the feeling of your feet against the floor or the energy flowing through your fingers. By practicing this a few times each day, you begin to become more aware. (Physical exercise and water help too.) Give gratitude for this moment of life.

The Big Answer

Metaphysically, there is always one answer — to visualize and/or feel a more positive outcome and to raise our consciousness to a higher vibration through the state of love. It's not always easy, and sometimes it involves a lot of practice, but fortunately many people are awakening on this planet, and every problem arises with an inherent solution.

"Now" is the time for all of us to awaken; it is time to hold images of our higher mind and our soul. We have the power to change anything and everything if we will only use it. Here lies hope — the opportunity to create the change through illumined consciousness, the infinite power of awakened love.
