Announcing the Sunday Earth Pulse:
a Weekly Gathering and Global Focus for Planetary Healing
Starting on Sunday, August 13, at 3PM Eastern Standard Time, WorldPuja will begin a series of live webcasts and global gatherings held each Sunday. On the second Sunday of each month WorldPuja will offer a Live, Global Webcast available free throughout the world. There will be one Live Webcast at minimum each month. On other Sundays we will still gather at the appointed time. Instead of a live webcast, WorldPuja will link to special audio prayers that will help focus our intent.
Each Sunday, at 3pm EST, you can either participate online or just tune-in on the inner. We call this weekly gathering the Sunday Earth Pulse. Together we will create a global experience never before seen on this planet. Please join us each week as we continue to build the momentum and inner experience necessary for true global change.

A Brief History of WorldPuja
WorldPuja was launched on July 23, 1998 with the clear intent to spiritually connect the people of the world, from every race, religion and culture via synchronized global prayer using the global connectivity of the Internet.
WorldPuja made history in August of 1998 with its first live satellite
webcast from the World Peace Prayer Society's 8th Annual Festival (www.worldpeace.org). In addition to thousands who were in attendance on site at the event, over 12,000 people around the world connected live online. In September of 1998 we broadcast live from the United Nations celebrating World Peace Day. Later that year people gathered from all parts of the world to pray for peace during the increased tensions and threat of war in Iraq.
In 1999 WorldPuja hosted a number of live global webcasts focusing on peace in Kosovo. In March, Marianne Williamson initiated 30-day Peace Vigil. WorldPuja made history again with the first, live global webcast of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet in April of 1999. Joining 5,000 people gathered in Miami with His Holiness, 3,500 online participants logged onto the site for the live transmission, and another 17,000 viewed the archived footage. On New Year's eve of 1999 we were honored to present a special live webcast with Dr. Deepak Chopra and His Holiness the Dalai Lama who delivered his message for the new millennium broadcast live for all the world to hear. Participation in WorldPuja's many global events has grown to include 83 countries with over 6,000 members on all five continents. Our series of Sunday Earth Pulses begin our third year of service. Our intent is to consistently increase global participation in these live events, and expand our global community.
Modern Science Verifies the Ancient Knowing
of the Power of Group Focus and Prayer
Mystics and saints throughout the ages have told us that it takes a relatively small percentage of the world's population to change the world. Modern scientific studies have begun to verify the transformation effects of group meditation, focus and prayer. According to Harvard M.D. Larry Dossey, author of Healing Words, "Now a monumental shift is occurring, empowered by evidence that consciousness is a powerful factor in the world." Deepak Chopra, M.D., says "The Internet is a living, vibrant expression of this understanding, allowing individual fields of awareness to unite across time and space. In this process, we directly experience the expansion of our consciousness as we connect with each other in our shared quest for greater knowledge and experience." With the power and speed of the Internet, imagine the difference we can make, linking the world in this way.
A Global Initiative Powered by You--
a Possibility Outside the Media Power Structure
From its inception WorldPuja has remained banner and advertisement free, funded solely by the generosity of individual members and sponsors. We keep our operating costs low and invest all monies received toward creating more global links. All live webcasts are offered free, available throughout the world to anyone who has an Internet connection. Here are two examples of the power of this global connection. After the April 199 webcast of His Holiness the Dalai Lama we received an email from a Buddhist in communist North Korea. He noted what a joy it was to hear his spiritual master in a land where the Dalai Lama's teachings are banned. During our series of webcasts focusing on peace in Kosovo we received several emails from people from within Serbia, some located a short distance from where the bombing was actually taking place.
To have this type of global reach achieved through the relatively low-cost phenomena of the Internet is an unprecedented opportunity. This is outside the controls and demand for convention of the typical media power structure. The usual thought-forms of consumerism or spectatorship are replaced by individuals participating together to create proactive change.
How You Can Make it Happen
Pray for our path to be smooth and easy. Pray for large global gatherings where we gather together online 144,000 strong and more, where we truly tap into the spiritual power of group prayer. Imagine the possibilities. Imagine what it will be like, what it will feel like. Pray that this reality is here now. So be it.
Set aside a few moments each Sunday to connect in, either online or off. Wherever you are in time and space, take a few moments to connect on the "inner." Know that many brothers and sisters from around the globe will also be connecting in this way, synchronizing their intent, meeting to celebrate and pray, creating the global experience together. Mark your schedule, set your alarm, do what it takes to REMEMBER.
BE there.
