A Gradual
Plan

with James W.
Deardorff, PhD

by Julia Griffin

Author and scholar James W. Deardorff spoke with us about the importance of the Star Visitors throughout history, and the possibility that they may be visitors from another dimension of Reality.

Julia: I understand you worked previously at the Center for Atmospheric Research. How did you first become interested in Star Visitors?

Jim: It's hard to say. I had a great deal of curiosity and imagination. It was probably a combination of things. I read some Greek mythology as a child, and a great deal of science fiction in the 1970s. Finally, I learned that UFOs were more interesting than science fiction, and very real.

Julia: There are many reports each year of UFO sightings. Why do you think that the idea of UFOs is not generally accepted?

Jim: Aliens have given us fifty-five years of concentrated sightings. One of every fifteen people, all over the globe, has had a sighting of a UFO. Since World War II, they have become much more visible.

It would be difficult for me to believe that we were the only ones in our Universe. That's such a small view. But the scientists with press and money definitely corroborate this. They seem to want a message from SETI,[1] something that fits into their point of view.

Twentieth-century scientists simply can't accept what is happening. They have a very limited point of view.

Julia: If there were a disclosure of UFOs in the next five years, how would the public possibly perceive this?

Jim: The reaction might depend on who came forth and how they were presented. But undoubtedly the military would become involved. There is no question that the military does know about UFO activity, but their efforts have concentrated on suppression of the evidence.

There is the possibility that the military would want to declare war, or a lesser possibility that they would disclose the information about UFOs that is presently part of their underground segment.

The public would probably become panicked at the idea. The mass consciousness of the public is simply not receptive to the idea of UFOs at this point in time.

If the topic were more mainstreamed in the media, people might become more interested and accepting of the idea. This would be particularly true if more evidence were presented in scientific journals. The information of these frequent sightings is constantly suppressed. Occasionally, there may be some observations or columns in local papers, but it goes no further.

Editors of large or important journals or newspapers don't want the information available to the public — I don't know whether it is because of general disbelief or because of the government. Hollywood movies often tend to put forth a negative image, showing the dark side of the ET phenomena. Perhaps movies and books could expand the imagination of the children and the public to make the idea more expansive, but the public will need to accept a more positive image.

Media exposure could pressure Congress to accept the idea. The underground portion of the military that is knowledgeable about ETs could come forward. Personally, I believe that the idea of ETs and UFOs will be accepted gradually.

Julia: Is there any particular reason you believe that disclosure of ETs and UFOs will take place gradually?

Jim: I do think there is a loose collaboration among all ETs. There has be some form of agreement, some law or rule that makes such a diverse group all observe the same pattern.

For example, they can't just come in and take over or abduct a huge number of people or become publicly known to a community at large or a state. All of the groups seem to have the same guidelines that are enforced: Don't stay too long. Don't shock us too much. There seems to be collaboration to make a gradual appearance — for us to accept them gradually.

Julia: Is there more than one type of ET? In other words, do you believe that they come from different planets or even different universes?

Jim: There seems to be a Universal Brotherhood among the Star Visitors because, as I said before, certain rules seem to apply, regardless of the type of visitor. But it also seems that many different types abound — some are good, and others are not so good. So there must be certain ETs in charge, with different groups from different planes of consciousness.

They seem to have been evolving for perhaps 20 to 100 million years, and the rate of evolution varies with the different type. The idea of different types is certainly verified by witnesses. Diversity seems to be likely, and it makes sense when one looks at our Universe. It is a varied Universe.

It makes sense, if the Universe is varied, that their rate of evolution would be varied. We see a variable evolution rate here on Earth within certain groups of people.

We need to ally ourselves with the visitors who seem to be beneficial or good, and not with the others. We don't want to put ourselves at the mercy of less evolved aliens.

Julia: Where do most of the sightings take place? Does there seem to be a particular place or reason for their location?

Jim: The Earth is open for quick appearances. The numerous sightings have perhaps occurred because of our evolution at this time — our spiritual and technological abilities allow us to perceive the UFOs as they are — visitors from another plane of consciousness, from other parts of our galaxies or even other galaxies. We can view them as beings that are more evolved than we are, but still see them as being part of the same Creation.

One location where UFOs appear is around crop circles. The appearance of crop circles is are frequently punctuated by UFO sightings the night before. I think this is another way of gradually educating us to their presence. Of course, the scientists and military discount all this, explaining it away. But it's obvious that the Star Visitors are far ahead of our science and military.

They are frequently sighted over military bases and nuclear sites, coming very close to them. There are huge demographics to support this. They may be watching us to prevent our self-destruction.

Many contactees have returned with visions of cataclysm. The people who have had these experiences have viewed the Earth of the future. They have seen an Earth devastated by nuclear fallout, or by natural disasters, such as vast volcanic explosions. Many have returned to become environmentalists with a vision of a whole, clean Earth.

The extraterrestrials may be teachers who would have us know that we must change our relationship with the Earth.

Julia: Do you believe that recent changes in our group consciousness have contributed to the frequent sightings?

Jim: Definitely. At one time, our level of evolving consciousness mistakenly identified the ETs and their ships of light with gods and goddesses. The Star People have been waiting for us to gain understanding, to come to a place where we realize that they are not gods, but rather, perhaps, advanced versions of ourselves.

For instance, Judaism perceived the Star Visitors to be a god that they called El or Yahweh. Many Native American traditions relate stories of beings that came from the stars to begin their culture. There are paintings of UFOs that date back to 1350 A.D., and petroglyphs created thousands of years ago by Indians in the American Southwest.[2]

Also, we are coming to a point of understanding in our science that may make it possible for us to understand some of the Star Visitors' technology. In the last four or five years, for example, we have found that the universe is vastly more complex than we had previously thought. We know now that there are planets revolving around other stars than our own.

Also, I think the Star Visitors realize that we are on the verge of making our planet unliveable. They may have come to protect us or help us environmentally in some way.

Julia: Do you believe there is a relationship between angels and ETs?

Jim: I think Angels and ETs are the same. I think that many biblical references, like God in the charior, in Ezekiel, are about visitors from another Universe, and that the angel that appeared to Joseph, and to the magi in the Nativity scenes, were real-life entities, not dreams. The "angel" that began Mormonism may be another example. I also think that the gods in Hinduism and Egyptian mythology were ETs.

Julia: Why do you think that the UFO sightings and experiences of visitors from other planets are not commonly accepted?

Jim: People are reluctant to share the information. If you tell your wife or children, it sounds incredible. No one believes you. If you speak about contact with beings from a UFO, that is even more incredible. So people certainly don't want to share their experience with friends or the press, if this is the reaction they are going to receive.

Many contactees may have had good experiences, but it can be traumatizing to relay this and not be believed.

Julia: Is there a story or incident that you find particularly convincing?

Jim: Yes. There is a well documented incident concerning four men who flew into a town in an airplane, then rented a canoe and traveled downstream. After dinner, when the men were far in the woods, they built a huge fire and went out in their canoe. There, they saw a huge light, and then right after that, they found that they were paddling toward shore.

But three or four hours had elapsed! Only ashes and embers remained of their fire. At a later date, all four of the men were interviewed separately, including under hypnosis. Although they had not discussed it among themselves, each had the same story of being examined by ETs.

Julia: Could you talk about the two basic types of experiences with UFOs?

Jim: You hear about medical or physical experimentation by what are called the Greys, a particular group of ETs. But then you have visitations or contactees who have had good experiences, who receive positive knowledge or feedback.

Julia: Are there changes in the belief systems of the people who have been contacted or taken aboard the starships?

Jim: Through hypnotherapy and/or psychotherapy, we have found that a large percentage of these people believe in reincarnation. They feel psychically enhanced in some way. They don't perceive as many difficulties in life. They are more cosmically aware and have a sense of wholeness. There is a spiritual connectedness. Each of them feels a connection between their spirit and a Great or Greater Spirit. These changes are pretty much known and accepted as changes that occur when one has been contacted.

Julia: How might contact with Star Visitors alter society's perception of religion?

Jim: If we look at the religious implications, let me say first that there is an emphasis on reincarnation. Most contactees believe in reincarnation. What would this belief do to the Christian religion?

I've studied cosmic philosophy and become interested in the Talmudic scripture, and I learned Greek in order to gain a greater understanding of the New Testament. There is so much that has been changed around from the original texts.

One of Christ's teachings that did come through correctly was the Golden Rule — "As you would that others do to you, do ye likewise even so unto them" — and this comes through all of the religions. There is a Creation, a world of Spirit, and a Universal Consciousness. If a change in consciousness occurred, we might view religion in an entirely different sense.

Julia: What might some of the technological advances be if we were to fully accept the presence of UFOs and ETs?

Jim: I think we might have a cleaner planet. We would find new ways of creating energy. Perhaps there would be new travel through space, medical breakthroughs, even a different way of looking at religion. These are all possibilities.

Some say that through hidden research from Roswell a nighttime vision lens was been developed from the ones that the aliens wore. It's hard to make heads or tails of it. It's probably difficult to say — some of the technology they find may be too advanced or too difficult for science at the present time to understand.

If there were major discoveries related to the ETs, the scientists would probably say that they were on the edge of inventing it.

Perhaps we are under the tutelage of the Star Visitors. We are learning from them how to slowly evolve. But it will be impossible truly to utilize the type of technology they possess until spirituality and science are reconciled.

Julia: If reconciliation between science and spirituality could take place, what might be some of the far reaching changes in our civilization and world?

Jim: There seems to be a focus on Light. Everyone seems to see beams of light coming from the ships. Certainly, they must be able to move at the speed of light. The only way in which science can currently conceive of this is to think of putting men in some type of suspended animation or drugged sleep and hoping that the ship will hold together until they wake up on another planet or in another universe.

These visitors are advanced, highly evolutionized. We must seem like adolescents to them. Their travel is too advanced for our science to perceive. Our mainstream scientists can't even conceive of different dimensions. And yet these ships must be capable of travel from one dimension to another. These ships or the people on them can almost teleport. The idea of teleportation from other dimensions is too much like sci-fi for most of our scientists.

Modern scientists can teleport a photon, but I'm talking teleporting an entire ship through a galaxy. I imagine, though, that they have to slow down in our world — that our dimension is slower than the one or ones they are accustomed to. Our dimension is likely to be more dense than their plane of existence.

They seem to have an instantaneous mode of communication. Many contactees have reported receiving information about Light and how it works. But it is advanced information that they can't always convey in terms that are understandable.

The visitors' rocketry is incredible. Think of it! Their ships can appear or reappear in seconds.

Through quantum physics, scientists are beginning to accept that thought can affect matter or that healing takes place in the mind. One idea that has supposedly come from aliens is the concept of a vacuum creating energy. This is being tested now. A device utilizing this technology could go into appliances, and then they would not need electricity or purchased energy to run. These ideas are important because they defy the ideas or laws on which our concepts of science are based.

So if this reconciliation between spirituality and science could take place, we could potentially revolutionize the world with new machinery, mechanics — possibly with a new culture.

It could be incredibly exciting. We could experience an entirely different way of life.
