Harmonic Concordance November 8-9, by Billii Roberti

Our News Editor, Billii Roberti, has put together the following information from several press releases we have received at the Spirit of Ma'at concerning the upcoming Harmonic Concordance.

On November 1, with the appearance of the next issue of our magazine, we will be publishing information from several sources concerning this event, including Archangel Michael's November message through Ronna Herman. "Coincidentally," AA Michael's message — like the November Spirit of Ma'at — is all about Light.

On Saturday, November 8, 2003, there will be a total lunar eclipse between 8:06 and 8:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (the eclipse will of course occur in some places on November 9). During this eclipse, at 8:12 p.m. EST, six planets will form a Grand Sextile in the sky.

According to folklore, a lunar eclipse ("black moon") is considered to be a bad omen. It calls forth the shadow in human nature, and thus can presage "shadow events" in humanity at large. On a deeper level, the lunar eclipse signifies accelerated change, for the moon appears to go through its 29-day cycle in just minutes — starting full, going dark, and then shining fully again.

The Grand Sextile pattern is formed by connecting the six planets (Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and Chiron) having sextile (60-degree) aspects. This hexagon signifies an energy flow that creates a subtle but powerful vortex, which in turn opens a portal. This hexagon is the same shape as the benzene ring — the building block of life on Earth.

These planetary aspects also form two intersecting Grand Trines (triangles), which create a six-pointed star pattern. This Star of David creates harmony between the ascending masculine Grand Trine and the descending feminine Grand Trine.

This planetary configuration — which will be the same everywhere on Earth — is being called the "Harmonic Concordance." It is a intersection in time that has the potential for a profoundly healing expression of balance. As Steven McFadden suggests[1], this event may even signify the fusion of polarities.

In using the term "Harmonic Concordance," we are calling to mind the great Harmonic Convergence of August 16, 1987. This was the first astrology-based global celebration of our era. "Harmonic convergence" describes the coming together of a group of energies to create a common tone. The term "Harmonic concordance" describes a group of energies in unison and resonance with a common tone.

According to Mayan prophesy, the Harmonic Convergence initiated a 25-year cycle of transition that will conclude when we enter the Fifth World on December 21, 2012.

Although there is no prophecy connected to this current astrological configuration, it may be a milestone during these "end times" on our way to this new world of planetary consciousness in which peace and enlightenment reign (see Mayans Predict Imminent Earth Changes in the August 2003 Spirit of Ma'at).

As in 1987, people will once more, on November 8, be joining together in peace, harmony, prayer, and meditation to heal and balance the destiny of our world.
