Nine years ago, a small group of healers from Southern Vermont got together and decided to create a holistic healing center that offered people in the outlying community a place to go for alternative treatment. They began with nothing but a vision and they turned that vision into something real. Guided by their inner connection to Spirit they have overcome multiple obstacles and many changes in order to make what was just an idea work in real time. Phoenix and Leon are both Flower of Life Facilitators who took on the job of opening The 'HeartWalk Center' here in Sedona, Arizona. We approached them about writing an article for us hoping that they would talk to our readers about what it's like to open a spiritual center in a community where spiritual centers are a dime a dozen. It's Tarot Time! — Out of all the cards in the tarot deck, 'The Star' is the one that holds space for the concept of connection and oneness. Number 17 in the lineup of the 22 Major Arcana symbols, this image is the template for Unity Consciousness. When it shows up in a spread it serves to remind us that always and in everything, we are one with all that is. Cal Garrison chose 'The Star' for this month's Tarot lesson for obvious reasons.
