2010 — TIME'S UP!

For years, we've become familiar with prophecies, predictions and channeled messages telling of a coming shift in human consciousness that would usher in a golden age of peace on earth. The shift prophecies, usually culminating on the Gregorian date 2012, include warnings of dramatic global changes that would occur on the planet before the coming golden age. These pronouncements have been absorbed with different levels of awareness. While the majority of humanity lives unconsciously or unaware of the changes ahead, others who have awakened to the insights of a new time have responded differently. Some retreated to fearful states. Some changed their behavior. Others altered the way they live their lives. Many attuned their awareness to a great calling.
The signs of this calling are everywhere! Even the unconscious masses notice that something powerful is dawning in this New Year. 2010 is a pivotal crossroad in human destiny. We either change the way we live and how we relate to one another on this planet or abide by the consequences. We're in a time of such enormous change that in this fulcrum year, every thing, every being, every species, is going to be dramatically affected in some way whether they recognize it or not.
There were auspicious signs as the calendar changed to 2010. There was a Blue Moon as well as a lunar eclipse happening on the same night. The Blue Moon which occurred on New Year's Eve will not be repeated for 19 years. As if signaling its own message, it was encircled by an enormous rainbow lasting most of the evening and into the early morning hours. Days later, the sky signs continued when the dawn skies were filled with colors of pink, orange and gold tendrils stretching all the way from the eastern sunrise to the western direction. 2010 is guided by the number 3. It is a powerful number of self-expression or communication in spoken or written words. In the 3 vibration also known as the Trinity, some type of expressive message or significant communication will happen, though what we don't yet know. The number refers to the physical, mental and spiritual parts of our being and represents the number of the family unit — father, mother and child. In harmony with the cosmic parents, the Divine Father and Divine Mother, it can be bright and extraordinary, but when out of balance it will be negative, foreboding or reclusive. How that manifests individually depends on the life lessons or the influence each person brings forward.
The Chinese master teachers saw 3 as a perfect number, while the Egyptians called it the number of the cosmos. It's similarity to the universal OM symbol is unmistakable. Many of life's events or passages are referenced in threes. For example: Third time is a charm; Things always happen in threes; Time is viewed as past, present and future; Stories are written with a beginning, middle and an end. Human existence happens in threes — birth, death, and rebirth. In the physical dimension, all colors in the visible spectrum originate from the three primary colors, red, yellow and blue.
The number 3 represents the child in each of us summoning the courage to stand up and do what it is destined to in a balanced way. In 2010, we are summoned to become the new Divine Child, supported and guided by the Divine Mother and Divine Father. We are the Children of the Sun building the new Earth.
Regardless of the feelings associated with the coming changes, our hearts are filled with hope and light. Always with hope! In 2010, we have the opportunity to grow into our full potential. It is the year we finally take responsibility for our personal self-expression and for those things that we bring into creation. There's no one left to blame for we have become the keepers of the new earth dawning. Regardless of what unfolds, in 2010 we must accept sole accountability for ourselves, our actions and our creations. Let us use it with wisdom and consciousness for it will be 9 more years before another opportunity like this occurs again.
Don Alejandro Cirilo, spiritual leader of the 400 diverse Mayan tribes said, "No being who follows the path will be left in darkness, for the light will always illuminate the path. The Children of the Sun, the Children of the Fire will be the survivors after the year zero. As children of the one God, let us walk together at a slow pace, waiting for the rays of the new Sun."
Our transformation to peace-abiding citizens of a globally conscious community will soon be completed! We are the change agents of our society. We call forth the highest and best by supporting one another in a world of infinite possibility. Together, we will build a kind and just new earth in 2010. The rainbow Blue Moon on New Year's Eve promises that this is the year that the Divine Child stands up in consciousness and holds itself accountable and responsible as a citizen of the dawning new earth. We are anointed the Children of the Sun.

As a visionary and community organizer, she and her life partner lead community ceremonial gatherings, teach spiritual workshops in Sarasota, including the highly acclaimed Purpose Presence & Vision and offer counseling. Jo writes & publishes a weekly online nationally-distributed newsletter called Spiritual Connections. She's a frequent guest on many radio programs and is founder of a very large Women's Meditation Group in south Florida. She's also Director of Spiritual Cinema at Unity. In her spare time she's working on two books: The Messages of the Mandalas and one with her partner called Synchronicities Out Of Time and Space.
