What does making love have to do with ascension?

The following article was motivated by something I read recently: IMPRESSIONS FROM THE ANCESTORS GATHERING By Cal Garrison (Editor of the Spirit Of Ma'at E-zine)
The above mentioned article, found in the June 2009 issue of the Spirit of Ma'at e-zine at www.spiritofmaat.com, is about a prophesy discovered within the symbols of the Mayan Calendar. These symbols tell of the "Return of the Ancestors" in late April of 2009. It was to be a gathering of the Ancestor's Elders from around the world and to happen on the North American Continent in the Four Corners area of the U.S. Southwest, where the four States of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah come together. Various articles in the e-zine describe this extraordinary event.

"Coming out of the silence, after about 20 minutes, Drunvalo called us back and Adam Yellowbird stood up and said; "That's it for this morning. We're all done until after lunch". And then a voice came out of the crowd. It was a woman's voice which could be heard to say: "No you are not done yet, because I have not spoken". Echoing loudly, over everything else, the words belonged to Grandmother Margerite, and they called everyone in the circle to not only get real, but to get used to the fact that the Female had arrived — and she didn't need a microphone.
I can only paraphrase what came next because I was as unprepared for it as everyone else — but this is how I remember it. First of all, the Grandmother's first words riveted everyone to the spot — even the ones who had begun to wander off came right back into the circle. She then proceeded to say;
"I am a woman and I am used to being last. And I now understand why we are always the last ones to speak; because we have to wait for the men to get out of their heads before we can talk about the heart. You talk about going into the heart and how to find the way there? If you want to go into the heart, you have to open the legs. The way to the heart is through the female vagina and the man can't think with his heart unless he gets to it through the woman."
That's only the gist of it; I can't even begin to tell you what the Grandmother said. She went on for quite some time in what amounted to an esoteric dissertation on the union of the male and the female. It was mind blowing; totally mind blowing. I think it was at that point in the gathering that Grandmother Margerite became the one who everyone wanted to hear. She's a woman, she's 104 years old and she blew everyone's socks off. "

First let me say that I mostly agree with Grandmother Margerite's words,
"The way to the heart is through the female vagina and the man can't think with his heart unless he gets to it through the woman."
Several years ago it came to my attention that a male Ascended Master, I am regularly in contact with, liked to make love with many women. When I asked him "Why?" he responded that it was easier for him to reach and rest within the Heart of All That Is while making love.
KNOWING that balance of the male and female within was all that was necessary for an individual to "Rest Within The Heart Of God", I found his statement astonishing. This was NOT my truth. I argued with him: "But you don't NEED to be making love with a woman!"
"No, but it is much easier when I do."
"But do you need so many different women?"
"No, but it is difficult to find one woman who wants to make love as often as I want to rest within the Heart of God."
His words penetrated deeply into my consciousness and confirmed an earlier realization that all of the controls of the church and moralities of various societies around the world were just lies, methods to keep us all from experiencing the peace, harmony, joy and bliss that is found only by deep, intimate love and Resting Within The Heart Of God. Women had been going about trying to help open the hearts of their mates, for thousands of years, in the wrong way!
Now, I am NOT talking about indiscriminate sex! I am NOT talking about "thrill" sex or extremely passionate sexual activity. I am NOT talking about irresponsible, unprotected sex or adding more children to a world that is already over populated.
I am talking about making "LOVE" between two adults who are committed to their relationship on many, if not all, levels... physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually! I am talking about taking responsibility for your actions, especially regarding birth control.
I am talking about taking some time during the act of making love to consciously "intend to MERGE" the cells and energies of your hearts and body and to journey together to that place within each of you that is THE HEART OF GOD.
The Heart of God is a place within of great peace. It is not a place where most individuals will find a climax. Any climax can be experienced before or after you merge. The Heart of God is a place that is so comfortable, so wonderful, so loving that you will be reluctant to leave, even though you know you must, and will look forward to returning to as soon as you can. This is all possible while still living a normal, physical life. BUT, this holy place can only be found with LOVE and, in the beginning, by the active INTENT to experience it.
It is also important to realize that most males and females ARE different in their brains. Females function from the Right Hemisphere or easily integrate and use both sides of their brain. Males generally function only from the Left Hemisphere. I believe this to be the main reason why most men need to connect in a loving way with a female in order to Rest In The Heart Of God.
I find it interesting that the word SHE includes both she and he while the word HE stands alone. It is the inclusion, the balancing of both energies within that is essential to God Realization.
To ascend into the higher realms, it is necessary that BOTH sides of the brain be balanced, brought into harmony and integrated WITH LOVE. Without this happening, the individual will have difficulty sustaining higher vibrations, therefore remaining in these higher states of consciousness. 1981 Nobel Prize winner Roger W. Sperry discovered in the late 1960s that the human brain has two very different ways of thinking. The Right Brain or Right Hemisphere of the human brain is visual and processes information in an intuitive and simultaneous way, looking first at the whole picture then the details. The Left Brain or Left Hemisphere of the brain is verbal and processes information in an analytical and sequential way, looking first at the pieces then putting them together to get the whole picture.
There are other things everyone should be aware of before you ever make love with another. One is that there is a major energy transferal between partners during the act. If one partner normally functions at a higher vibration than their partner and that lower vibration partner has had other partners, especially where love is absent, then the act between you may be tiring or even exhausting for the higher vibrating individual. This is because the "other" partner will "dump" negative energy that he or she wants to get rid of onto their bed partner. And this accumulates between bed partners, with the end result being that the highest vibrating individual will unknowingly take on the low, dark energy of all of their partner's former bed partners. This fact alone might give one pause for greater thought before indulging in sex with someone... not to mention the diseases that are passed in this way. Great discernment is the answer here.
Another thing to consider is that as you continue to merge with an individual you greatly love, you will come to bond in such a way as to make telepathy between you much easier than it would be with others.
As I have said before, telepathy is a very natural ability and many people are now remembering it is something that they too can do. All it takes is opening up to others in a loving and honest way. Needless to say, telepathy eliminates lies because everyone knows what you are truly thinking, so it is important to eliminate even the white lies you tell yourself.
Another thing to remember is that when you have great challenges come forth in your lives, such as lost jobs, a lost home, or the death of a loved one, it is essential that you stay together as loving partners, working together to solve the problem(s) that affect you. If you get angry and blame your partner for your troubles, you will destroy the very foundation, the support system that could help you solve your problems. Frequent bonding via making love will greatly help in these situations, giving both of you confidence to face each and every challenge.
What might seem impossible for one person to accomplish alone, can be made possible by two or more supportive individuals working together, visualizing a beneficial outcome.
Now, I know some women are going to question my sanity in the next few moments, but most men will "love" what I am going to say.
I think making love with your mate, for least 30 minutes at a time, on a "daily" basis is a loving and necessary thing to do for BOTH of you to spiritual advance more quickly. Twice a day, morning and evening, is even better! This not only stimulates the Kundalini energy, which benefits the whole body and helps to balance both sides of the brain, but it also enables both the male and female to more easily reach and Rest Within The Heart Of God on a regular basis. It reminds both individuals that each can create this experience for his/her own self with intent and more control. This is very empowering.
Yes, I know this will seem like a lot of lovemaking to some of you, perhaps most of you. In truth, it does to me at times. However, we all know that things happen to prevent ongoing daily lovemaking, (an argument takes away all desire for me while joy and laughter bring it all back) but if we "schedule" more intimate time together, we will raise our average opportunities to Rest Within The Heart Of God, and it is THAT experience which will greatly raise our functioning vibrations and aid our ascension.
We all must KNOW something exists before we will get the idea that you, as an individual, might want it. So, I am telling you now, Resting Within The Heart Of God IS possible for all Souls with the desire to experience it.
Lovemaking and merging also create feelings in both individuals that they are truly loved and desired by their mate. This brings forth a feeling of confidence and many can see this "after-glow". Haven't you ever had a friend "guess" that you made love the night before? It's because your aura is brighter. You are more relaxed and at peace, happier. You have less stress and are therefore healthier. You are even more filled with the Light of God than usual. You are in a MUCH better place physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually after making love.
Remember, I said "making love" NOT "having sex". To me there is a big difference, although it may not seem so to everyone, especially the young.
MERGING WITH LOVE CREATES ONENESS, not only with each other but with GOD.
LOVE enables us to recognize ourselves in all others and to achieve UNITY and ONENESS. We start to realize that we are not separate from at least one other, only to realize that we are not separate from ALL others.

The "squeezing" part of the technique, for both males and females, will increase your enjoyment without a great deal of physical effort and rhythmic squeezing by both will create an out-of-body state which will make it easier to merge and enter the state of consciousness that is the Heart of God.
Therefore age or physical stamina need not be a concern. The "squeeze" is created with "intent" and a few muscles in the lower pelvic area. This technique will also help both of you balance the Cerebral Spinal Fluids in your Right and Left Hemispheres (the male & female sides) so that their brain activities can be merged and work in harmony. This is known as "Balancing the Male and Female Within".
Now, I never said that this would not be work or take some effort.
As you know, any relationship takes effort on the part of both partners for anything to work smoothly. This includes making love.
Some tips I suggest to use often are:
- Cuddle
- Touch Their Face
- Look Deeply Into Their Eyes With Love
- Caress Them
- Sing Together
- Laugh Together
- Go On Dates Together
- Candlelight Dinners
- Leave Unexpected Love Notes
- Say "I love you." or "I'm thinking of you" via Telephone Calls, E-mails or Text Messages
- Recreate the Excitement of the Beginning of Your Relationship
You get the idea. Only the two of you know what makes you happy and romantically turns you on.
You do not need a partner to "Rest Within The Heart Of God!
"Perhaps" it might be easier for you if you do, but it is not "necessary" for either sex. Nor is it essential for you to actually be engaged in the sexual act.
All you truly need is OPEN-HEART LOVING.
If you choose to merge with others, may I suggest that you choose your best friend of the opposite sex and set up time to cuddle, FULLY DRESSED or do the technique described below. While holding or cuddling each other, you can both "intend to merge your hearts" then "intend to go within to Rest Within The Heart Of God".
If you do not have a single "best friend" of the opposite sex, then I suggest that you ask male and female friends if they would be interested in trying this technique within a group made up of equal numbers of each sex.
Find a quiet place to meet and have everyone sit comfortably in a circle, you may or may not choose to touch knees or hold hands. If you are basically strangers, I suggest that you do NOT touch until you all become friends.
Sit with the males on one side of the circle and the females on the other.
(Sexual preference is not applicable here, only the sex of the physical body.)
Make sure everyone knows that you will all have a quiet period of about 15 minutes, when each will allowed to have their own personal experiences.
Remind everyone to first focus their physical eyes upon the center of the whole group, about heart level, three to four feet off the ground, then once their eyes are closed, to focus on this area with their inner eyes.
Take several slow deep breaths until everyone seems relaxed.
You may suggest that the group sing a few rounds of: "HUuuuuuu."
HU is a high vibrating name of Creator God.
When all seem ready, someone with a quiet voice can say:
"Once you are all completely relaxed, let us intend to merge our hearts at heart level in the center of our group circle....
Let us then gaze gently and sweetly on the screen of our minds with our inner vision... watching on a quantum level as the space and molecules of our hearts, and perhaps even our bodies, energetically merge... sharing ourselves, our love, with each other and all humankind... with all life, with All That Is.... Without any pressure to do anything, just relax into the bliss... the peace and joy you will find as you Rest Within The Heart Of God for the next 15 minutes."
You might also want to experiment sitting "boy-girl-boy-girl, etc."... again seated in a circle with the group merging in the middle of your circle, to see if that works better for your group. (i.e. To see if you all have greater experiences.)
Please do NOT set the mood with music. Some of you will hear the Music of the Spheres during this experience and any other music or outside noise will be a great distraction.
After about 15 to 20 minutes of quiet experiencing, it would be good to end the session and share experiences. This should not be a time of bragging or competition regarding what you experienced, but truly sharing and encouraging others to share, perhaps giving them ideas, possibilities of what they might experience in the future. Some will see things, some will feel excited and some will just feel quietly at peace. It is ALL right and good. No experience is greater or lesser than any other. It just IS.
These sessions could be with a group at work, gathering in the morning before work time starts (if this does not make everyone too calm to work well) or just after work before you all split for home. There is usually not enough time at lunch.
Where there is a will, there is a way. Form the intent to draw others who will be interested in this open heart technique and put the word out. Perhaps you will copy and distribute this article so that others will have a better idea about that which they might experience.
I truly believe this will benefit all sentient Souled beings.
