I have discovered that it is possible not to suffer, even in the midst of adversity. It's taken me a long time to "get" this. I think we need a lot of time and a lot of suffering on this earth plane in order to reach a place of true surrender. I think that's why we came here.
Angels born in hell.
I think "being" here is the highest honor, like being admitted into the most esteemed university, and I don't think graduating with a PhD in Life Mastery happens only at our physical death.
I think we graduate with our doctorate in Life Mastery when we decide we've had enough of suffering, and then choose to step into our God Shoes.
An angel born in hell has a mission, and that mission is to:
1. Remember who they are.
2. Step into their God Shoes.
3. Ground Heaven on Earth.
4. Help others to do the same.
First you suffer. Suffering forces you to question your life. Once you start to question your suffering you find yourself wanting to be more still. You want to spend more time in solitude. You begin to embrace nature as a sacred elixir of life. You start to really listen. You begin to breathe more deeply. You start to pay attention. You feel the urge to create. All of this seems to stir up even more suffering. That is good. You are becoming real. Here is where most people give up. They put their toe in the water, find it too icy cold, and go back to their comfortable easy chairs in front of the fireplace. Peeling back the layers of illusion hurts. There is no getting around it. To end suffering, we must undo what has been done. We must accept, let go, live in the moment, and finally surrender to that place within that we know is our true home no matter what the cost. We surrender to Love.
You step into your God Shoes when you've allowed enough of Step One to move through you and purify all your dark and dastardly demons. You know it's time to step into your new shoes when the only suffering you are now experiencing is the pain of withholding all that you've come to know and experience. You are still an angel born in hell who has now come into full acceptance of your holy mission here, despite and because of the suffering world and the masses who would have you persecuted for claiming such a Divine stand. And yet...it is the Divine path laid out for All who would choose it.
You stand tall in your God Shoes and radiate the full power of Peace you have attained within. You have remembered your true home; you have purified your mind of all that had you believing you were separate from anything. You have accepted every single thing about being human and being here. You have not given up your wings. You have simply added a pair of really cool shoes. You have merged heavenly body with physical body and have let go of all separation. You ground heaven on earth by simply walking in this world knowing who you really are!
When they find you — and they will if you are in your God Shoes — ask them one simple question...
Are you ready to end your suffering now?
If they answer yes, then humbly show them the doorway to their freedom. That's all you can do. That much you must do or you will still suffer. You can show them the door, but crossing the threshold is their choice. Many will run back and forth. You know their fear, you tell them it's okay. You understand, for you did that too. You simply remain a presence of Peace for others, encouraging them to rise up when they fall. You don't get down in there with them...no, no. You don't do that. Not because you are above all that suffering now, but because more than any other desire you hold within your heart, you want freedom for All. You know that through that doorway exists a whole new world. That world is Love, and that world is infinitely inclusive. You serve no one by running back into the world of separation to save someone. All you would be doing is denying them their choice to be free.
In the end, all angels born in hell have the choice to create heaven on earth. It is the most courageous mission, and the end of suffering leads you Home.
