AOTEOROA'S STRUCTURES

Rangi Taueki Alto Dome - Futuristic Healing Center

Innovative — Functional — Eco-friendly

The 'events' dome is a culmination of a 15-year dream for New Zealand man, Dean Zajonskowski. Through his passion for sacred geometry and healing he has created the portable events dome (PED). The PED is the first of its kind to be built by using rings interlocking with triangles — each triangle is independently covered with high quality canvas which is durable, light and could be customized to suit any occasion. There are really no limits in what they can do.

Dean and his team of dedicated people have one goal: to build these structures, either portable or more permanent. All of the team has an input, which leads to innovative ideas and unique problem-solving techniques.

Dean's dream is to build a healing centre by using permanent domed structures. This structure will be based on the principles of sacred geometry. The main dome would be constructed of hardwood, hubs, and struts in a spectacular network of geodesic polyhedral.

The exterior is cladded with glass reflector panels of copper, gold or platinum. The front panels installed from the top of the main entrance form a lotus on the zenith representing the seven chakra symbols. Octagonal natural flooring in the form of tongue and groove adds a natural timber effect throughout. The main dome with its satellites forms a symbolic shape from above, if desired.

It also lends itself to a host of possibilities for example auditorium assembly areas for seminars or classes, healing or yoga sessions. Library or research rooms and treatment rooms would ideally suit adjoining mini-domes directly connected to the main dome.

A basement area could be constructed below the main dome using inverted pyramid gridlines, and used for storage, for example water or food, or house power equipment.

An adjoining tower could be an exciting feature with the possibility of a viewing tower or even as astrological observation decks with a rotating top section.

A physical feature of dome construction is the natural flow of ventilation created by the shape of the domed structure, thus eliminating the need for air conditioning. A vertical venture action is extremely effective, a positive feature in economic climate control.

Another feature is the dome's natural acoustics, which are brilliant for lecture theatres, meetings, or assemblies, with speakers very audible.

A high priority is self-sufficiency, so a dome for greenhouse purposes would be highly effective, combining solar and pyramid energy forces naturally accelerating and enhancing growth. Power can be sourced in a number of possible ways, from solar panels to geothermal application, even a water source using an inertia-less generator (a battery system will be required that is chargeable).

Dean also says that the project will include a revolutionary functional sewage breakdown system, already used by advanced countries of Northern Europe, making the domes totally self-sufficient.

Dean's son Nigel recently formed a marketing company, Zajon Creative.

Nigel takes after his father in a lot of ways but has a different way of thinking.

The company's mission statement is "a world where anything is possible" and with that attitude there are really no limits to what Dean and his team can achieve.
