Love Amidst the Chaos

By Julia Griffin

What if every thought traveling through your consciousness created a wave-length, a vibrating frequency, that etched itself into reality as your experience of life? The Vedas say that this is so — that our creations are reflections of our thoughts, emotions and sensations as we respond to life. It is also said that when enlightenment comes, our emanations from become balanced between the spiritual and the physical, the soul and the body. When this balancing comes through full enlightenment — or alignment with all that is Divine or the One, then only waves of harmony are emitted, which bring light, love and comfort to the planet.

Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha are the enlightened figures of the Piscean Age; it is said that the ascension of many will take place in the Age of Aquarius. It is far more than simply balancing the soul and body for these two forms represent yin and yang, darkness and light or the multiple dualities. The recent oppositions of the summer are long-lasting in our evolutionary climb, and they are representative of the forces within "the self" of war and peace; hate and love; wholeness and fragmentation; and every opposite known on the planet.

John Lennon said, "Jesus and Hitler live in every person." And they do. The opposing forces live within us and are seen within the world. Fear and love are the emotional energies of duality — the reduction of all energy to its most basic level.

Fear is experienced as consciousness moves up or down because this movement of mind causes oscillations of reality. Reality is no longer stable when flashes of enlightenment are received. It is no longer possible for the lower mind to stabilize reality with its patterns. Love causes fear because it is highest frequency on the planet. Its energy is read as instability by the matrix of the mind because it alters the movement (or stability) of matter.

Love throws everything into chaos. There is probably no greater fear than moving entirely into love because the ego associates the most divine states with disintegration, rather than the integration that it truly is. Love severs the ties in relationships that are created through dependency and neediness. Love alters all that it touches by opening doors to new, higher experiences. Enlightenment brings the truth that the basis of all is light and love; this is almost an irreconcilable fact for those living in matter.

The construct of the Universe is light and love. Perhaps our greatest fear, even greater than universal unconditional love, is fear of our higher self, our abilities and talents. Even more than unconditional love, we are afraid of loving ourselves.

Imagine thousands of people experiencing fear and love in the same moment. The emotions surge backward and forward, toward self-realization and then back into drama. Our thoughts fly at a tremendous rate through the akasha to be received or transmitted; they are amplified as our energies grow. Fear is a force, which separates us from love, with the safety of old patterns, drama and inner dialog.

Fear increases when stepping forward toward enlightenment, a part of living on a planet with the myth of the dying god and a cultural association of enlightenment with death. As perception of other universes enlarges along with consciousness, mythology itself may change. In the meanwhile, connection is the obvious answer for fear, but it can be evasive when many people are feeling the same lower emotion at the same time.

Lower energy moves in patterns generated by the sleeping self, and observation momentarily breaks the pattern. In the moment of awakening (self-observation), light floods the consciousness. Observation is the beginning of awakening — it is a glimpse of the self while it is sleeping. It is the higher consciousness that sees the sleeping self, and, in this moment, the pattern is broken.

The strength of fear leads toward attempts at both mastery and freedom. Mastery can mean a brief insight or alteration of reactions, thoughts or sequence of events that eventually creates a different version of the similar energies. It is the bridge between the lower and higher self that begins with observation. Flashes of enlightenment or higher thought will often follow.

Words help when attempting to understand the almost inexplicable, so this phenomena can be explained as Venus retrograde, which is passing now. But all aspects experienced in recent months are about awakening, of seeing clearly how we create our reality. Each aspect has taught about the light self and the dark self, the opposites within the being. Venus retrograde teaches about love itself, loving our selves, right vision for the planet, as well as beauty and harmony in relating to others.

Love and fear are the polarities of emotion. We simply don't know how to love ourselves. In the past, love has been like the Little Mermaid who gives up her most prized possession to win love. We relinquish the song of our soul for love or pursue the song so strongly that the ego's desire for success overwhelms the soul's quiet direction toward serenity and balance. And love cannot be won or bought. It simply is or isn't present.

It's easy to see where love is lacking — it is the voice of an angry stranger, the tirade of a loved one, the demands of work, an emotionally overwhelmed friend, or one more task when you are truly weary. Love lacking is the criticism of self in the mirror or the harsh words to self. It's all about how we do not love the self. When the inner words and outer actions are noticed, as unhappiness or perpetual discontent, it's time to change. It's best to start with the thought that love for self is the missing ingredient, rather than the actions or incorrect behavior of others. When our unhappiness or discontent becomes apparent, true desires become obvious. How do we wish to be treated by others? If we really loved ourselves, what would we do? What would we tolerate? What would we really like to say?

The holograms, or images with emotional presence, are the part of personal love that is missing. It is best to start with imaging exactly the manner of "being loved" that we desire.

For example:

1) When looking in the mirror, we tend to be critical. Send love to your face and body. Ask your inner light body to illuminate your appearance.

2) When speaking to others, speak with kindness and understanding. Create images of receiving true kindness and heartfelt sentiment from others.

3) When receiving less than kindness or love from the Beloved(s), create images of loving gestures, words and actions from the Beloved(s.) Notice how you would like to be loved and imagine this reality.

4) Imagine receiving love and sincere appreciation for your work in the world. Imagine deep heartfelt appreciation from those with whom you work.

5) Take a single painful episode in your life. How would it feel if you had been nurtured? Imagine this as reality.

6) Imagine speaking your true feelings so that they are truly heard.

7) Take an issue, person or event that causes emotional pain. What is it that you would like to receive instead? Can you give this to yourself? Imagine it as done.

8) Wherever there is emotional pain, there is imbalance between the two sides of the self. Co-dependency often manifests as enabling or giving too much, then feeling anger. We can also take too much or become too demanding. Notice if any of these states may occur and if too much kindness is given to compensate. Observe the dualities and swings within self as often as possible and "see" a more positive outcome.

Venus also is a feminine planet that radiates her energy toward Earth. Her symbolic color is green, the color of healing. Earth and form are female qualities, so it's important to discover if our thoughts and feelings support constructive outcome on this planet. If we feel anger, sadness or even apathy, our inner holograms are not supportive of positive change. (Do not suppress the emotion but notice its flow. Work on the holograms at a later time.) Our emotions act as prompts to see the global situation differently. Whatever our position, it is wise to see the earth as healed and whole and balanced.

Metaphysics states that all material objects have an ethereal double that is perfect. When we glimpse this ethereal image, it may be possible to bring it into form. This method has been used since Pythagoras' time to heal the human body. With so many people awakening, it might be possible to heal the physical body of the Earth.

In the meanwhile, as we dance between the opposites of love and "not love", perhaps the opportunity is born to see the universal love that lies beneath the structure of all. By projecting the underlying perfection and love, it may be possible to create a harmony of balance within self — and in the world — that reflects "heaven on earth" and the beauty of our awakening selves.
