WHAT IS THIS 11-11-11 THING?

There seems to be lots of talk about this "thing" called eleven, eleven, eleven, but I am unsure about what it all means, or what is to occur. When I look at this "thing" I see three sets of two vertical lines, each separated by a horizontal line or diagonal line 11/11/11. Yes, I know, it represents a date on a calendar presentation of what is considered time. For numerologists it must have great significance.

When this thing is represented in common English language date form, it loses some of its artistic and numerical charm — November eleventh, two thousand eleven or November eleven, twenty-eleven. But, what does it mean? What is the "big deal" about this date? What is going to happen? Is the World coming to the end, or do we need to wait until 12-21-12 or some other date? Will the sun come up in the East or will it be different? Perhaps it will not come up at all, if the world suddenly stops rotating — at least it won't appear to have come up on the dark side of the planet that day. Maybe it will appear to come up from the North, South or West.

Is this the date of the arrival of the aliens from other worlds or realities, arriving in extra-terrestrial vehicles or merely "beaming down"? Why have they waited so long? I have been eager to meet them for years. Perhaps this is the opportunity for all of us to "ascend" to a higher vibrational level and solve all of our problems of poverty, hunger and greed instantly (or at least within 24 hours).

Finally, I wonder when is 11-11-11; 11:11 (and, is that time thingy AM or PM)? Does this time/date significance occur in the Central Pacific Ocean when that day begins? Does it occur when that time/date rotates to Sydney, Australia, or perhaps Greenwich, England (where the "big clock" is housed)? Maybe the "THING" doesn't occur until the Earth's rotation arrives in Honolulu, HI, near the end of that day.

My perception of what may happen is way too clouded by thoughts and fear. I believe I will observe how I am on November 12, 2011, and that is how I am looking at this "Thing".
