With the accompaniment of a soft rain in the background, I had the great pleasure of improvising with Ruth Cunningham, a singer and sound healer in New York City. This song, Waves, evokes the gentle presence of Spirit which surrounds us and supports us, even when we are unable or unwilling to ask for help. With this gentle rocking motion, the voices and harp remind us that we are each held in Spirit's embrace, because we are each born of Spirit.

Ruth Cunningham is a classically trained musician and sound healer who specializes in improvisational sacred music from varied spiritual traditions.
